Four Years of Accomplishments:  2001-2005

• Reduced City expenses by $4 million without compromising City services or support for Schools
• Led successful search for a skilled City Manager
• Equipping police patrol cars, schools and municipal buildings with AED's (life saving automatic heart defibrillators)
• Completed the water treatment plant on time and on budget
• Installed new traffic signals, streetlights, paving and sewer work
• Provided extra funding to upgrade School playgrounds and fields
• Protected funding for our City Library
• Continued our Senior programs and services
• Began General Plan review
• Effected urban design program in business triangle
• Liaison for the T-lot project which will generate up to $5 million annually
• Expanded use of City website
• Led restoration efforts at Greystone Mansion
• Brought a long sought after bookstore to our City
